Unfortunately, for the new Elite series, BlackVue has updated the rear coaxial cable to support the increased data transfer speeds required by the new high-resolution rear cameras, so you'll need to rewire the rear camera at the very least to support your upgraded configuration.

The Elite series also uses a 3-pin power connector like most X-series models (identifiable by the black ring around the metal plug), so if you're upgrading from an older model with a 2-pin power connector, you'll need to rewire power as well.
