Is the VIOFO OP100 OBD-II Power Cable compatible with my dash cam and vehicle?Updated 2 hours ago
Vehicle Compatibility
The VIOFO OP100 is designed to work with the vast majority of vehicles on the road today. It is compatible with most OBD-II (16-pin) vehicles manufactured since 2010, including gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles. The OBD-II standard uses a unified 16-pin connector with consistent physical shape, pin definitions, and power protocols, meaning the OP100 will work seamlessly across nearly all modern passenger vehicles regardless of fuel type.
However, there are a few scenarios where the OP100 may not be compatible. These include 24V commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, and construction machinery, non-OBD-II vehicles, and specially modified or purpose-built vehicles. Additionally, Tesla vehicles are not compatible, as Tesla uses a non-standard OBD-II interface that differs from the universal specification.
In general, the VIOFO OP100 should be compatible with the following vehicles:
| Vehicle Type | Compatible? |
| Gasoline / Diesel (2010+) | Yes |
| Hybrid (2010+) | Yes |
| Electric (non-Tesla, 2010+) | Yes |
| Tesla (all models) | No |
| 24V Trucks / Buses / Machinery | No |
| Pre-2010 / Non-OBD-II | Verify First |
The following is a dynamic list of vehicles we have tested and verified compatibility for:
| Vehicle Tested | Compatible? |
| 2011-2017 Honda Odyssey (North America) | Yes |
| 2014-2019 Toyota Corolla Sedan (North America) | No |
