What is the GeoFencing setting on the VIOFO A329S and A329T?Updated 22 days ago

The GeoFencing setting on the VIOFO A329S and A329T allows the user to define up to 3 zones around selected coordinates in which parking mode is automatically disabled.

GeoFencing is only available on firmware versions 2.0 and later.

When enabled, the dash cam will fully shut down with the vehicle's ignition if it detects that the vehicle is within one of the user's defined zones. Otherwise, it will enter parking mode as usual. If the GPS signal is weak (within 50m/164ft), the dashcam defaults to parking mode monitoring.

GeoFencing may not work in areas with limited or no satellite signal (such as heavily covered or underground parking garages).

This is useful for those who park in secure garages at home and/or work, or those who drive their vehicles infrequently, and only need parking mode when they're out and about.
