The Philips Dash Cam has the following Smart Voice Indicators, which help you stay informed on the camera's status while you drive.
- "You have been driving for 1/2/4 hours, please take a rest" This is the camera's Driver Fatigue alert.
- "Please Format the memory card." This message will play when there is an issue with the SD card.
- "Video Evidence Locked" This message will play when footage is manually locked, or automatically locked by an impact being detected.
- "Please Insert Memory Card" This message will play when no SD card is inserted. The camera requires an SD card to function.
- "Please replace Memory Card" This message will play when there is an issue with your current SD card, such as being corrupted.
- "Please connect to the app to update the date and time." This message will play when the date and time are out of sync and improperly displayed. Connecting to the app on your phone will allow the camera to sync with the date and time of your phone.
- "A Photo was taken" This message will play after a screenshot is taken, which must be triggered manually.
- "Recording has started." This message will play when the computer boots up and normal recording starts or when the recording has been manually triggered.
