Will the Thinkware U3000 Radar Sensor interfere with my Radar Detector?Updated 9 months ago

The built-in Radar sensor of the U3000 does supply signals on the same wavelength as standard Radar Detectors, however the Radar Sensor only functions once the vehicle is turned off, so there will not be interference.

There is a possibility of a brief moment of interference when you turn off the vehicle, with your Radar Detector providing a false reading, but this would only be momentary.

Switching to a parking mode for the U3000 that does not use the Radar Sensor will avoid any interference whatsoever.
