Why does the dash cam make “ding-dong” sound while driving?Updated a year ago

The "ding-dong" sound means the dash cam has detected an impact and an Event (Impact) file is being recorded. It could mean your dash cam G-sensor detected an impact (ie. an accident) or you just drove over a bump and triggered the G-sensor.

If you are constantly getting "ding-dong" sounds during normal/non-impact situations, it could mean you've set the G-sensor sensitivity too high - it's being triggered by every bump on the road.

What you can do:

  1. you can configure sound and alerts to turn on/off using the App or the desktop viewer, or
  2. you can adjust the sensitivity level of the sensors
