Indeed it does. 4K is known as Ultra High Definition (UHD), which gives you video quality that is 4X clearer than the standard 1080p. To be specific, 4K resolution is exactly 3840 x 2160 pixels, whilst 1080P consists of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

We always recommend 4K to our customers because in the event of accidents and hit-and-runs, it's very important to be able to review the footage and be able to clearly see the license plates for insurance purposes.
