According to the official specifications from Thinkware, the detection distance range is approximately 7m, while the horizontal angle range is approx. 80°, and the vertical angle range is approx. 35°. There are no official word on thee maximum distance that it can be placed away from the Thinkware U1000, but our recommendation is to place it as closely as possible together to ensure that there are no interferences in the signals in between.
