There are 2 ways to install a battery pack:

The first method: Power Input Hardwire Cable

With this method, you will be using the Power input hardwire cable (ACC) where you connect it to the ignition-switched fuse and the other wire to the ground bolt. The last outlet is going to be specifically for your dash cam battery pack.

 A full charge from empty will take about 60 minutes.

The second method: Cigarette Lighter Adapter (Socket)

For this simple option, you would need to just insert the 12V cigarette adapter into the vehicle's cigarette socket. Make sure that your vehicle's cigarette socket turns off when the vehicle is off; otherwise, the battery pack will continue to draw power from your vehicle's battery (there's no voltage cut-off protection).

A full charge from empty will take about 90 minutes.
