How do I upgrade my VIOFO dash cam's firmware on my Windows PC?Updated 2 hours ago

Updating the firmware for your Viofo dash cam is simple. You can find the latest firmware for your Viofo dashcam at this link: https://www.viofo.com/pages/firmware

  1. Select your dashcam model, scroll down to where it says "firmware" and click "download" for the latest version.
  2. Remove the SD card from your dashcam and put it in your computer.
  3. Format the SD card by right-clicking on it and clicking "format". This will delete everything on the SD card, so please make sure to save any important files first.
  4. Load the latest firmware file that you downloaded onto the formatted SD card.
  5. Remove the SD card from your computer and put it back in your dashcam.
  6. The firmware update process will begin once the dashcam is connected to power. Please do not disconnect the power until the process is complete.
