Using BlackVue Viewer:

1. Unplug the dash cam's power cable and take out its microSD card.
2. Insert the card into the microSD card reader and connect it to a computer. Make sure that your computer recognizes the SD card.
3. Run the BlackVue Viewer program. If you do not have this, you can download it here.
4. In BlackVue Viewer, click on the gear icon to access the settings panel.
5. Configure your desired settings and don't forget to click "Save & Close" before exiting.

Using BlackVue App:

Only if your dash cam has built-in Wi-Fi.

1. Open the BlackVue app. Under your dash cam, select More > Connect Dashcam Locally (Wi-Fi)
2. Once connected, click on the gear icon in the top right and go to Camera Settings
3. Configure your desired settings and don't forget to tap "Save" before exiting.

Over the Cloud

Only Cloud-enabled dash cams have the feature of accessing the recordings and dashcam/firmware settings remotely. Make sure that the dash cam and the smartphone are connected to the internet.

1. Log in to the BlackVue app.
2. Under your dash cam, select More > Camera Settings > Firmware Settings
3. Configure your desired settings and don't forget to tap "Save" before exiting.
