Some GPS-equipped dash cams do offer a geofencing feature that allows the user to define zones around selected coordinates in which parking mode is automatically disabled. Currently (as of January 2026), the only dash cams to offer this capability in the BlackboxMyCar lineup are the VIOFO A329S and A329T series.

For the VIOFO A329S and A329T series, parking mode geofencing is only available on firmware versions 2.0 and later.

When geofencing is enabled, the dash cam will fully shut down with the vehicle's ignition if it detects that the vehicle is within one of the user's defined zones. Otherwise, it will enter parking mode as usual.
