1. Performance Capabilities

  • The U3000 does not support HDR
  • The U3000 Pro supports Dual HDR for the front and rear cameras
  • Compared to the original U3000, the Pro features significant radar upgrades: higher frequency operation (61 Hz vs. 25 Hz), 10% lower power consumption (4.8mA vs. 7mA for even longer surveillance duration), and a larger detection area (0.1m to 10m vs. 0.8m to 5m).

2. Storage Capacity

  • The U3000 only supports SD cards up to 256 GB
  • The U3000 Pro supports SD cards up to 512 GB

3. Hardware Upgrades

  • The U3000 has a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 front sensor and a Sony STARVIS 1 IMX335 rear sensor
  • The U3000 Pro has a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 front sensor and a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 rear sensor

4. Accessory Compatibility

  • The U3000 does not support any add-on accessories
  • The U3000 Pro has a USB-C accessory port for the optional interior IR camera or LTE module

5. Included Accessories

  • The U3000-1CH only includes a cigarette lighter adapter
  • The U3000 Pro-1CH includes both a cigarette lighter adapter and a hardwiring kit
  • Both the U3000-2CH and U3000 Pro-2CH include a Thinkware OBD-II cable instead of a hardwiring kit
